"Zoe" is a product of one of our own breedings.  She sustained an injury shortly after birth which damaged one of her eyes beyond repair.  She was quite a trooper and despite her slight handicap Zoe still went on to be a stand out in her litter.  At seven weeks of age we decided to keep her.  We began her training in hopes that the loss of vision in her one eye would not hinder her work in the field.  She breezed thru all of her initial training and yard work, but in the end her depth perception was not good enough to allow her to compete in hunt tests.  Zoe has taken permanent resident as my full time companion.  She is a very sweet, affectionate and happy girl.
