Jackson is a wonderful pet, great
hunter, and awesome AKC competitor. Of all of these things he has one
overriding passion and that is to retrieve. And to do it quickly.
His pedigree is excellent with 14
FC/AFC’s and 4 National Champions in four generations. He is also part
of a lineage that produces top dogs. His sire FC/AFC Chena River Chavez,
is the number two sire of all time and his grandfather (2x) NAFC/CNAFC
Ebonstar Lean Mac, is the top producing sire of all time.
Jackson is 70 lbs of speed and
athletic ability. There are few that will retrieve with more style and
zeal. He is hard going but very sensitive which makes him an easy dog to
train.
He is an excellent marker, lines his
blinds very well and rarely refuses any whistle/hand signals. His
passion for retrieving requires a lot of retrieves each week while his
overflowing enthusiasm makes training with him fun.
His training began at 2 ½ years of
age. Up until then he was raised in a loving family who lived in a
condominium in Florida. They were unable to train him for any field work
and did not have the facilities to allow Jackson to run very much.
Needless to say, Jackson had a great deal of pent up energy and
frustration as well as potential. He needed a different life and was
adopted into a home in Virginia.
Jackson now runs and retrieves
almost everyday. In the 2 years since Florida, Jackson has achieved his
AKC Junior, Senior and Master Hunter titles. During 2005 he qualified in
seven straight AKC Master Hunt Tests. He also qualified for the 2005
Master National and 2006 World Retriever Championship.
Finally, he is a very lovable dog
that can steal your heart away, quickly.
