As many of you know, we spent the greater part of 2003 searching for the
perfect piece of property to serve as the permanent home of our new kennel.
After many months of searching, our dream property was found and purchased
in September 2003. The parcel of land consists of approximately 42 wooded
acres and 4 cleared acres for a total of about 46 acres. There are natural
low areas which will eventually be cleared and dug out to create a few
training ponds. The land is ideally located less than five miles off of
I-95 exit 118 (Thornburg Exit). The back end of the parcel butts up to the
north bond lanes of I-95 (mile markers 115 to 115.3).
Although the land was zoned for a kennel, we
still had to under go several public hearings in order to obtain a
special use permit. The permit for our commercial kennel was approved
in July of 2004. With the approval of the permit in hand, we are now
ready to begin the planning and construction of our new state of the art
