Our Labrador Retriever breeding program was founded in 1998 with the purchase of our first purebred Labrador Retriever, Windemere's River Song SH.  All of our breeding dogs are proven performers.  They are hunted and/or campaigned in AKC, UKC and NAHRA hunt tests.  They must also pass rigorous health screenings before they are accepted into our breeding program.  All of our breeding stock have OFA Good or Excellent Hips, OFA Normal Elbows and CERF certified annually.  Cresthill is one of the very few breeding kennels in the country that submits their breeding dogs to DNA testing for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), RD/OSD (Retinal Dysplasia/OculoSketetal Dysplasia), CNM (Labrador Centronuclear Myopathy) and EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse)  We unconditionally guarantee that our puppies will not be AFFECTED by PRA, RD/OSD, CNM or EIC.  Our goal is to produce healthy, genetically sound puppies while still preserving the breed's natural hunting abilities, instincts, trainability and temperament.  We are proud to offer the best written guarantee in the country.
